It is a dry and dusty mixture of powder and granules. Bulk density: 735 kg/m3.

 

Non-IMSBC Code information: A starch product, obtained from the tuberous roots of the cassava plant. Cultivated for food. Also an intermediate product formed by the hydrolysis of starches. Used as foodstuff e.g., thickening agent for food products. Also used in the manufacture of glues and sizes. Often used to replace gum arabic.
