Description
|
A nickel cargo that comprises of about 55% nickel, 20% copper and 25% of other mineral impurities (cobalt, iron, minor quantities of precious metals like gold, silver, platinium, palladium and rhodium). It is crude dark grey and odourless and having a bulk density of 2,800 - 4,000 kg/m3. It is an intermediate product coming from the smelting stage of the nickel ore mining production (where nickel ore is mined, milled and smelted) using a pyrometallurgical process. It is non-hygroscopic and will not cake when wet. |
