Mandatory application of this cargo schedule: the provisions of this schedule shall apply only to cargoes containing less than 0.1% respirable quartz.

 

Description
This material is made by blasting, crushing and sieving the common rock species granodiorite which is a grey, very hard and compact mineral stone. The aggregate is used as a component in asphalt, concrete and hydraulically unbound materials. Bulk density: 1,340 -1,900 kg/m3. Non-IMSBC Code information: crushed natural rock. The material after the blasting, crushing and sieving process is transported to the outside stockpiles by conveyor belts. Also used for construction in roads and offshore installation. Odourless. Free flowing.
