The port is ISPS compliant.The terminal will provide security arrangements to restrict unauthorised access to the jetty. Vessels will be required to provide their own security arrangement to prevent unauthorised boarding. From sunset to sunrise, the gangway must be floodlit and a deck watch implemented. The vessel should also be on the lookout in case any unauthorised craft should approach her. Whilst alongside, the accommodation ladder on the side away from the jetty should be rigged and the lifeboat lowered to the embarkation deck to provide a secondary means of escape from the vessel in an emergency. The Master should provide a list of crew members and expected visitors. The list should be handed to the terminal representative. Loitering on the jetty is prohibited. Personal protective equipment including coverall, coat, long trousers, safety glasses and sturdy shoes must be worn when travelling through the plant to or from the vessel. The use of mobile telephones, electronic equipment, calculators, cameras and photographic equipment flash units are not allowed on deck while the vessel is alongside the berth. UHF/VHF portable transceivers and torches must be of an intrinsically safe type.The Terminal's Emergency Control Centre is located within the terminal site. The LNG carrier, the Senior Loading Technician and the standby tug(s) will have direct lines of communication with the Emergency Control Centre by means of hand-held UHF radios.An emergency on the jetty:In the event of an emergency on the jetty, an audible alarm will be sounded. Cargo loading will be immediately stopped, the loading arm disconnected and the standby tug will attend. The vessel's personnel should:1.
